Have you ever hesitated when sharing your prices, feeling the need to justify them with an overwhelming list of features? If so, you’re not alone. Many coaches struggle with balancing their passion for service with the reality of financial stability.

Today, I have the pleasure of coaching Katie, a passionate and purpose-driven entrepreneur who recently launched her Purpose and Creativity coaching business. Her mission is to support women and build a thriving community, but she’s grappling with a challenge that so many in this space face—how to confidently charge for her services while maintaining strong energetic boundaries and feeling truly worthy of success.

Navigating Financial Stability and Confidently Sharing Your Prices

The major focus of our conversation is Katie’s desire for financial stability after leaving the corporate world. Like many new coaches, she’s torn between her desire to serve and the need to create a sustainable income. 

When I ask Katie to share her pricing, she instinctively lists the features of her package rather than the transformation her clients experience. It’s almost as if she feels she needs to justify the cost by explaining everything included. 

As we dig deeper, Katie begins to open up about the real impact of her coaching. She helps take her clients from feeling lackluster to colorful. This is an incredibly powerful shift.

Once Katie starts to frame her services around the transformation, sharing her prices no longer feels uncomfortable for her. In fact, it feels more freeing and empowering. She begins to see her coaching as an investment in her clients’ growth rather than just a transaction.

Value Over Features: Shifting the Mindset

Katie realizes that the value she provides isn’t just in the logistics or the features. It’s in the deep, personal connection she builds with her clients. People can only go as deep with you as you’ve gone with yourself. When you truly believe in your worth, others will too.

So, if you’ve been hesitating to own your value and confidently state your prices, take a step back and ask yourself—are you focusing on the features or the transformation?
